About TANCET 2026
Anna University has released the TANCET notification 2026 on March 10, 2026, for MCA and MBA admission for the 2026-28 session. As per that the TANCET 2026 registration has started from March 16, 2026, and the TANCET application form last date to apply will be April 10, 2026. The TANCET 2026 exam will be held on May 09, 2026. The TANCET 2026 exam will be held in offline mode in 15 cities across Tamil Nadu, as per the TANCET 2026 notification. Students who qualify for the TANCET exam 2026 get admission to more than 200 MBA colleges in Tamil Nadu. The result for the TANCET exam 2026 will be announced in May 2026. Candidates who appeared for the TANCET MBA entrance exam 2026 will be able to check their TANCET MBA result 2026 at tancet.annauniv.edu. The scorecard for the TANCET 2026 will be available in May-June 2026, and those who cleared the TANCET 2026 can download the TANCET scorecard from the official website in June 2026.
What is TANCET?
The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is held for admission to post-graduation courses like MCA and MBA in various colleges and institutes in Tamil Nadu. All interested candidates must check their eligibility before applying for the TANCET entrance test. The eligibility criteria for the TANCET exam vary for each course. The procedure for the TANCET 2026 admission through counselling seeking admission to MBA and MCA degree programmes for the academic year 2026-28 consists of two steps:
- Appearing for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) exam 2026
- Applying for admission to the admitting authorities concerned after the declaration of the result of the TANCET MBA exam.
